Like some of life’s challenges, once you “pin” down the problem, you can get a “handle” on them. Stop pen, malfunctioned, pretty quickly, but was able to DIY another one. Then, the magnet arm came off, allowing lids to go for a swim. Will not reattach. Has a three-year warranty, kind of. $10 shipping and handling fee to get the new lever. Is that still a warranty? IT IS WHEN IT IS WORKING, IT WORKS GREAT. Finally, like Barbie, awesome to look at, but that’s about it.

This rack fit perfectly over our kitchen window and opened up a ton of cabinet space. It is attractive and sturdy! I was able to line it up with the standard studs as one other reviewer suggested (the bolts are 16 inches apart). Our window had a third stud that lined up with the support arm, so I opted for the wood installation and didn't need the drywall anchor. I would say the install takes a moderate degree of handiness. I am self taught from YouTube videos and this took me about an hour. You will need a stud finder, power drill and a socket wrench to install.

After reading the CR recommendation for this coffeemaker I went online to analyze. I saw some of the negative reviews, but still ordered. So happy I did! What I love about this machine: 1. Lighted controls on the front easy to use, program, and hide when done; 2. Delicious coffee with strength adjustment. I like strong coffee but have been fine without selecting bold feature:; 3. REALLY HOT COFFEE - Never been able to find a machine that brews and keeps coffee hot - - Adjustable temperature control is great. 4. Coffee stays hot and delicious up to 4 hours. I couldn’t quite judge the size when I ordered so I have attached pictures on my counter (fyi I ordered the grinder at the same time and love it as well).

I realize I got deal of year (Dec 22) for only $75 total for it. They are $150 or more now. The cast iron is heavy pot and lid. I find this fantastic made and Ceramic coating. I mention it’s heavy for those that may not be able to lift it easy. Not to say negative. It’s a beautiful color red! First time I made pot roast I was afraid I’d never get it clean. It practically wipes off with a few swishes under the water and brand new again. Now I cook way more in it than I thought. Even made a beer bread in it so you can bake anything in it. If you always wanted one of these cast iron pots (like me) you will be please you paid for the top brand.

I’m totally hooked on this thing! The reviews are spot on - it’s small, but it’s perfect for two people. And guess what? It’s got plenty of hot water to rehydrate those chilies you love. I’m also a big fan of the sleek design and all the stainless steel. It’s so modern and stylish. And the best part? The lid stays locked in place while you’re filling it, and it’s quieter than a regular water heater.

I was looking for a simple basic toaster with wide openings for thick slices of bread & bagels. I finally found it with this one! I love the retro look and design very much!!!!

Pros: 1. Easy to get normal sized can set into position. 2. Once the cutting blade is in, it automatically grabs hold and cuts the whole lid off, it then automatically stops when done, holding the can in place until you gently pull it away. I cannot sing the praises of this feature enough, as it provides the least painful can opening experience I've ever had since developing arthritis and neuropathy in my hands. 3. Slim profile, sturdy base. This part I was concerned with, I wasn't sure about it being so slim that it would have enough of a base to be stable. So far I've had no problems with stability, and it's light weight makes it easy to move if needed. 4. Retractable cord. Well, this was an unexpected and welcome feature. Instead of having to worry about having too much extra cord laying around, the cord extends and retracts easily back into the unit so that you can have the perfect length of cord from unit to outlet. No having to use a twisty, or leave the cord just hanging around. 5. Arm comes off easily with minimal effort for cleaning. 6. Noise level is a little quieter than what I'm used to. That's nice. 7. It does the job so fast, I hardly have time to appreciate what little noise it makes. Cautions: 1. The blade is very sharp, so when cleaning it I wouldn't recommend getting fingers anywhere near the blade, I'd use a handled scrubber. It's early days and I've only had to rinse it off so far. 2. Be careful of the lid from the can. I'd recommend using a fork to get the lid off the magnet if you don't have fine motor skills, this is still a can opener cut and while it doesn't have what I would call jagged edges, it does have wavy edges that are sharp and the lid needs to be handled with care. I've never known an electric can opener where I didn't have to worry about this issue. Conclusion: It's the best electric can opener I've ever used. It attaches to the can easily, cuts quickly and quietly, takes up very little room on my counter. I don't dread having to open cans anymore, I'd even say I look forward to showing it off.

I have read a lot of negative reviews on this coffee pot, but after reading how people got past the Kcup single serve issue by calling support, I figured I’d give it a shot. I absolutely love this and sooo glad I got it despite the reviews. I did have an initial issue with the single serve side but somehow I got thru it without having to call support. Other than that I have had no issues so far. It’s been a week. It’s very nice quality and coffee tastes great! I have been wanting to go back to fresh grounds and brewing a whole pot and get away from K cups bc of cost and waste!! I am so glad I made the move. I especially love the lift handle on the single side water reservoir!!! That was such a smart move to make that! We enjoy a whole pot of coffee in the mornings and the convenience of a “afternoon wake up” cup by using the single serve side. We can use fresh grounds or kcups if we’re in a pinch. I love how nice and clean this machine looks on my counter. If you’re hesitant I would say get it. You may not have a bad experience like the others and end up being glad you got it….like I did!!! 🙌🏼👌🏽

We have a lot of Lodge cast iron (and I truly mean A LOT!), but wanted to purchase a dedicated deep-dish pizza pan. We settled on this because Cuisinart has a fairly well established reputation and the reviews are gmostly positive, but was disappointed to see just how rough the surface is. It’s worse than a 40 grit sand paper and we are going to have to sand it down a bunch. Maybe after 30-40 years of use the patina will build up and it will be nice and smooth, but who wants to wait that long???

We needed a new cooler since we got rid of our last one. We were road tripping over to Phoenix from Las Vegas and wanted to take food, drinks, snacks, etc. My husband was trying to talk me into buying a Yeti because his son has one and loves it. They live in Florida and go boating, camping, ATVing all the time so they could justify the cost. Knowing that we will only use it a few times a year, I set out to find a cheaper alternative, but still a very good quality cooler. I did some research and found that Igloo has a much higher end line of coolers than they used to and this one got really good reviews, so I ordered it. In reading the reviews, I learned that you can pre-condition a cooler by filling it with ice and frozen water bottles overnight and everything will stay cold longer. Neither of us had ever heard of that so we decided to try it with this new cooler. We did, and the next morning, we added our food and other drinks to it and stuck it in the trunk of my car. Phoenix is about a four-hour drive from Vegas and the temps started out at over 100 and got up to 110+ by the time we got there. When we got to the hotel and opened the cooler in our room, everything was as frozen as it was when we left. Maybe not too remarkable but pretty impressive given how hot it was in the trunk of my car. Anyhoo, we unloaded the food into the mini fridge and left the drinks and frozen waters in the cooler. We were making drinks with the mixers in the cooler, so we opened it a lot! Hee hee Everything was super cold the next day and the water bottles were still frozen, but the ice we brought with us had thawed enough so that it was ice cubes mixed with water. By the third day, the day we left, the water bottles were still almost completely frozen with just a little water in each one. We added a little ice from the hotel ice machine and it tends to be slightly watery, but by the time we got about two hours away and stopped for snacks, we opened the cooler and that hotel ice was even more frozen than when we put it in! Okay, now THAT’S pretty remarkable! Needless to say, this cooler is perfect for how we’ll use it. That was our trial run, but we'll also use it for day trips in our side-by-side since it fits perfectly in the bed. One thing I like is that the drain plug screws on instead of just popping in or out, so it can’t be accidentally drained. Not only that, it looks really cool, AND they have several color combinations of that model so you can order the color combo that suits you best!

I really like the shine on these utensils. The point on the handle and the balance of them for such an inexpensive set. They are not light or flimsy. Slightly heavy and a great replacement of my 15 year old set.

I was tired of buying pods. I have used coffee grinders when using a drip coffee maker in the past and was on board with one unit that does both. The pros and cons: Pros: 1) The brewed coffee has great flavor as expected. 2) The warming plate temperature is perfect because even after two hours, the coffee still tastes hot and fresh. 3) The stainless finish is nice (just as described). 4) I'm always a fan of 2 -in-1 appliances; less stuff on the counter. Cons: 1) As other reviewers noted, there are a lot of parts to clean (i.e., 2 grinder parts, 2 basket parts, and of course, the coffee pot itself). I am using the reusable basket, so a paper filter may avert cleaning that one part. 2) At the end of the cycle, occasionally, there will be a whole bean or two left in the grinder (hence the rating on the grinder power). Not sure why this is happening. I've only had the coffee maker for a week, but so far I'm pleased overall and very happy with the flavor of the brewed coffee.

I've had the CMW-200 for a few weeks now and so far it's performed well. The Pros's and Con's are: Pros: 1) Inexpensive, I paid $180. 2) Fairly compact for a combo unit. I had limited counter space and was replacing a 1.1 cf unit. It fits ok when I push it all the way back to the backsplash, however you need to pull it out at least 3" when using the convection mode due to the heat generated, which is substantial. 3) Reheats food well using convection and the microwave works well too. I regularly grill salmon outside and it came out fantastic in the CMW-200 4) User menus are pretty easy to understand although there are a ton of features I haven't used yet. 5) Reliability......to soon to tell although I purchased an extended warranty when I bought it through Square Trade. 6) Convection mode has a warmup stage and then cooks at that temp which is very nice and easy to use. 7) the size is perfect for quick heat ups or for single people. It's not huge, but I don't use it for large items anyway. I prefer the smaller footprint due to counter space limitations. Cons: 1) the stainless finish shows finger prints easily 2) the convection heating element is very exposed and will become covered with food residue if you cook anything that splatters. 3) the unit becomes dangerously hot when using convection and will burn you and even damage countertops if you don't protect them. I measured surface temps up to 160F on the side and back near the heating elements. Be sure and allow for at least 3" of clearance in the back for heat dissipation. DO NOT TOUCH THE BACK OR SIDES OF THE UNIT IN CONVECTION MODE OR YOU WILL GET BURNED!. 4) the door latch requires enough force to open that you sometimes push the entire unit back when trying to open the door. this may reuire some non-slip feet under the unit to prevent this annoying sliding. 5) the convection unit sticks out the back of the unit an extra 3.5", plus you'll need an extra 3" when using convection mode, so you'll eat up some countertop space with this unit.

For the most part...just the looks alone are nice and clean. It doesn't look like a spaceship on the counter. Nice simple straight lines and simple on / off / bake / broil / etc controllers. There were later design ovens from this manufacturer, but for the price, and all the Basic Features, I figured how can I go wrong? With 1800 watts for the total heating elements...right there that tells you that it is going to heat up fast...maintain quickly to attain the setpoint, and perform like a regular electric range / oven / broiler; but just in a smaller package. Toast making is complete on both sides. Fast! And with no drying out of the toast bread. I was looking for the ability to toast bread, without the bread sitting there in the oven just drying out on the inside of the bread; while the outside was browning. That is the problem with toasters that are Lower Wattage. It is a proven fact in the testing sequence of a toaster designed to do just that....make toast. The setpoint maintains just that, with not much droop in temperature. It is quick to respond to maintain the setpoint (temperature selected) to do a fast cooking chore. The crumb catch tray just slides out easily for cleaning which is a plus. My old toaster oven had to be turned on its side to flip open the crumb tray. Wow! Those crumbs really sat in there till they cooked themselves to the tray. With the slide out easy clean tray...I clean the crumbs every two or three times I use the oven / toaster! Smart Design! The only downside ...and it does not affect the useability of the oven; but it is annoying trying to see the settings plainly stamped in black lettering and numbering; but very very small. Just one step UP in the font SIZE would be a big improvement. I lost my 20 year old perfect vision some 40 or so years ago, and even with corrective lenses...I have to keep a little magnifying readers glass there just to see the settings of the controls. My 18 Y/O granddaughter who has perfect 20 /20 vision even has difficulty seeing the setpoints. All In All....I recommend it highly. The functions and power of this little machine are absolutely great. It is definetely not in the toy division like some other products of the like are in. I had to give this 4 stars**** only because of the inability to clearly see the setpoints on the controls that are printed so small. That's My Opinion Anyway! Oooops! one more important item, is the fact that there are multiple slots to position the shelves / rack etc for the different applications of cooking / heating / toasting etc."NICE"

I am a big fan of this knife set, the only thing I would change would be the scissors that come with it.
