I got my mixer 2 months ago. I’ve used it about 10 times so far for frosting, batter, and bread dough so far and really like it. I’ve made swiss merengue successfully and 4 dozen cupcakes at once. I also got the used-like new to save money, so all in all, a really good purchase for less than $200 compared to the ridiculously expensive kitchenaid. Now I haven’t written an cuisinartoutlets.com review in YEARS but I was REALLY impressed with customer service. The handle from the mixing bowl broke. I called cuisinart and the entire duration of the phone call was 7 mins. I didn’t have to wait on hold forever and in that time they got my info and sent me the tracking for my new bowl. I could be mad about the fact that the bowl broke at all after little use, but hey, now I’ll have 2 bowls (though one broken) to make my life easier when making cake batter and frosting back to back.

Approximately 12 years ago before the Christmas holidays, Keurig flooded the TV air waves with commercials for their new K cup pod coffee maker that quickly brewed one cup of coffee. I liked the concept but never heard of Keurig and had no idea who they were or if they were a legitimate company or merely a scam so I didn’t buy their coffee maker. On January 5, 2011 I was shopping in Costco and saw a Cuisinart K cup coffee maker. Having a Cuisinart food processor, can opener, toaster and conventional coffee maker I was familiar with the company and the fine quality of their products. It used the K pods that the other company’s coffee maker used. It was love at first site and I bought the Cuisinart SS780PC coffee maker for $164.99. I loved that coffee maker and used her to pleasure myself every day and some days two, three and more times a day. We’ll here it is 11+ years later and she started to wear out from old age. The pump was sluggish and would no longer pump out a full 12 ounce mug of coffee. I sip and savor every one of those perfectly brewed 12 ounces of coffee. So I felt let me buy the current Cuisinart replacement for the model SS780PC I presently had and I went directly to cuisinartoutlets.com and found the SS10 Cuisinart coffee maker and bought it immediately for $139.95. I was impressed with the voluminous number of 5 star reviews and I never pay any mind to an occasional 1 or 2 star review. Negative people write negative reviews and attempt to punish the manufacturer for mishaps caused by their own ignorance. Case in point splashing on the counter top. Possibly Sir Issac Newton could explain it better but if common sense prevailed there would be no splashing on the counter top. When a liquid drips from a higher point down to a standing liquid at a lower point the drops that are standing will splash up from being hit by the falling drops from above, especially if you use a shallow low sided tea cup. If a couple drops splash wipe it up with a paper towel, it’s not the fault of Cuisinart and it’s no big deal. Certainly not rocket science but basic rules of gravity. This new model does not have the blue light illuminatIng the water reservoir when water is low and has two heat settings HOT and VERY HOT rather than multiple degree settings. The engineers at Cuisinart realized these two features are not critical and designed a much better coffee maker for a $25 lower price eleven years after their original model was manufactured I loved my SS780PC but will have a torrid romance with this SS10. It is well designed and attractive, aesthetically adds to the beauty of my custom designed and handsomely decorated gourmet kitchen. I turn it on and immediately the open head icon illuminates, I put in a K pod and in less than one minute I’m sipping a 12 ounce mug of freshly brewed delicious and satisfying coffee. On top of that Cuisinart gives you a three year warranty. Talk about a manufacturer having faith in their product’s quality. I’m so glad I was skeptical years ago and never bought a Keurig. My old Cuisinart gave me 11 years of faithful service and I’m looking forward to a very long and enjoyable relationship with my new SS10. If you’re looking to buy a K pod single serve coffee brewer, don’t waste any more time looking. BUY this one it looks great, represents EXCELLENT VALUE, will brew you an EXCELLENT CUP OF COFFEE in a minute, is covered by Cuisinart’s 3 year warranty and cuisinartoutlets.com will deliver it to your front door. GREAT PRICE, GREAT VALUE, GREAT SERVICE who could ask for more.

This product is defective. The lid will not slide off even if you follow every recommendation given. It is basically junk. Highly recommend you save your money. Did not want to give one star but had to to submit my review. On its way back today!

This pot rack is well worth the cost. It is very sturdy and can hold many pots and pans. I got this pot rack to solve the problem of searching for pots and pans in the kitchen cabinets. Now everything is out in the open and easy to reach. The pot rack mounts easily on your wall using the included hardware. Just make sure you locate the studs in your wall before drilling holes since you need to have at least 2 of the 3 mounting screws attached to a stud. After adding some pots and pans to the pot rack, it becomes a nice display on your kitchen wall. I'm quite pleased with this product.

This is a great toaster. The buttons stay lit after using until the toaster cools down. You have to push down on the lever twice when you want to toast. I think that is a safety feature.

Washed the pots & pans by hand before using them as recommended by Cusinart. After using one pot and one pan I noticed that after washing them by hand the pot discolored on the inside and the pan has some kind of water mark. I did not use a scrubbing pad. You can see from the first photo that the pots & pans came all shiny and the other two photos not so good. Wonder what they all will look like after repeated use if this happened when only using them once. Going to try and contact Cusinart. My first new set of pots since 1974. I am very disappointed!

I would give this a four star, I made 2 grilled cheese sandwiches and a pizza sandwich and all three were very good. I cannot give it a 5 star because the heat is slightly uneven as seen in the photos, but they tasted good all the same! I would recommend getting this product based on my one time use, will post an update again after a few more tries to make sure it continues working well.

  • I purchased this item partially out of need and somewhat in accord to the reviews. I've read by a few that "this toaster oven burns your toast" or to that effect. I agree that it cooks hotter than most and can easily burn your toasted items. BUT, luckily for us this toaster ovens comes fully equipped with a "Toast Shade" (not the greatest label name) dial. This dial allows one to adjust the toaster according to one's desired toasting level. Thus alleviating (after some trial and error) the chance of burning one's toast. It works great! More about the dials. I absolutely like this toaster oven. I've been using the same Cuisinart T.O. for about 15 years. And it made "perfect toast" like the advert promised. It finally died and I went on the search for another T.O. It didn't surprise me that after considering many brands that I felt compelled once again to purchase another Cuisinart. The only problem I have with it are the dials. The lettering is tooooo small. I have to grab my reading glasses in order to read the settings. The other thing about the "Toast Shade" dial. The Light setting the low setting as expected. The Medium setting is the High setting. I haven't as of yet explored what the ramifications of using the High setting would be. So medium is somewhere between Low and Medium. That usually works for me ninety percent of the time. One other weird (no biggie) thing about the TS dial is that you turn the dial counter clockwise to lighten the shade, rather than clockwise. Maybe that makes sense to you, but for 15 years it's been the opposite. In sum. If you have good vision (or a good pair of reading glasses - or a magnifier), and you can stay out of the Medium to High range when making your morning toast, then I think that you will love the Cuisinart Toaster Oven (or Broiler as some advertise). It's just the right size for your countertop - mine at least (see photo - the pan leaning beside it comes with the unit and slides in the guides, making the size of the pan as large as the interior, and not sitting on top of the rack).

I just got this smoker yesterday and have yet to fire it up, but wanted to leave my initial impressions. Material seems to be top quality. In total it weighed 75 lbs. came packed in a very organized manner and the instructions were extremely easy to follow, although I recommend you have someone to assist, not because it’s hard, but holding the burner and doors on while you get you screws started will make things easier. Still not difficult by yourself but easier. They do include a tray for extra water, which some reviews mentioned the water reservoir was small. Chip bowl is pretty small but I think will be fine as it is easy to add more. I’ll be cooking with it this weekend and will add additional info then. UPDATE: Okay I have now cooked a couple of times and here is what I find. I still give this smoker a 4* rating, however you do have to make a few small adjustments. 1st time using I simply could not get the temperature above 200 on high with my tank turned all the way up. After several hours of fiddling with it I finally pulled the bottom water/wood pan out and the temp shot up to over 350 almost instantly. It appears the issue is the bottom pan is pretty thick and fits just above the burner that it doesn't allow heat to flow up into the smoker very well, creates and essential blockage and the heat just leaves through the bottom. The 2nd time I used it I took the extra water pan and placed it on the bottom just above the burner, this proved to work a lot better, but what to do with my wood chips. I went out and bought two small bread pans from the dollar tree and placed wood chips in one of those pans and sat it on the bottom rack. The problem with this was the wood wouldn't heat up enough to smoke, so about halfway through I moved the wood/break pan into the water pan. Once the water ran out the wood would create the smoke I was looking for, but you need water, so this solution wasn't ideal. FINAL SOLUTION: placed the extra water pan just above the burner, by removing the original, thick black pan from smoker, placed a small break pan with wood chunks inside that pan and then another small break pan with water inside it as well. This allowed the wood chips to heat up enough to provide lots of smoke and still provided the water you need to keep food moist. With these minor adjustments that cost $3 at the Dollar Store this machine is perfect. Maintained 250 degrees for 5 hours set on low and gas about 25% on all while cooking short ribs, turkey breast, and a whole chicken.

As usual with mini-fridges, the lower back of fridge is exposed. To secure the cooling mechanisms during shipping a styrofoam cube had been inserted, which I removed. There is also a line that is wrapped in styrofoam tubing and secured with zip ties … SHOULD THIS COVERING BE REMOVED TOO or should it remain covered? (see photo) The frige itself is GREAT and home delivery was so convenient. While the lower back corner was slightly dented during shipping (a common occurrence), it’s not really noticeable so it doesn’t bother me. I took off 1-star only because there are no instructions on whether or not to remove the styrofoam covering on the line. Since it “looks” like a possible fire hazard if left on, I cannot use fridge until I find out. Will update review/star rating once I find out.

Look at the photo. On the right, my dearly beloved, permanently stained, old toaster, which finally gave up the ghost. On the left, Cuisinart's "compact" toaster. It's big. It's also a very bright white---to the point that it manages to stand out as stupidly, garishly white next to white canisters and against a white backsplash. I returned it, so I can't speak to the quality of the job it does. I can say that the cord was on the short side. I did like that it has a dedicated "cancel" button. That's a feature I greatly appreciated on my old toaster and one of the reasons I bought this one.

The DGB-800 is our fourth grind and brew type coffee maker. The last one was a Cuisinart DGB-475 that lasted so long I can't remember when we bought it. Maybe 13 years ago? It started having problems with the pump and the white plastic was getting pretty nasty looking. We bought a GEVI coffee maker before this new one, and it quit working after a few uses. It has a defective design where a hatch cover gets steamed up and jams, there is really no way to fix it. Couldn't get support or contact the seller and ended up dumping it. Total junk and sleazy seller. So back to the DGB-800. This is finally a model we can get behind. It's about as good as our first grind and brew style maker, a Melitta that was designed very well. Unlike the DGB-475, the DGB-800 does not steam up the grinding area. Well, maybe it does but you can't see it, and there's no moisture collecting in the bean hopper. We like our coffee on the strong side, and the fine burr grind along with the mesh filter makes really great coffee. Quite a contrast from the blade grinder and paper filters. Only one complaint, there's no way to turn on the hotplate once it shuts off? That's a silly oversight. I'm tempted to add a switch. The alternative is to set the timeout to 4 hours and turn it off when you're done. So far, highly recommend this coffee maker. We'll be pleased if it lasts anywhere near as long as the last one, and I'll update the review if any issues arise.
