My keurig finally gave out after about 8 years. I compared the cuisinart to the new generation of keurig and was impressed with the sturdiness (build) of the cuisinart (keurig is just cheap plastic now). Both were about the same price. Cuisinart at about 150 anywhere I looked and keurig was 100-150 depending on the site/store. Out of the box, wife and I were impressed with the design and all the extras that cuisinart offers. Now, I only brew coffee, so review is strictly coffee brew related for last 3 months. I’ll update later with wife’s review on tea and cleaning, etc. I found the brew was much lighter and the coffee taste was very much subdued compared to the same keurig brew. Not sure if that’s from the filter or water temp. The keurig would brew a much stronger coffee (coffee taste appeared stronger). Cuisinart brew was lighter and easier on the taste buds. I didn’t need to add as much creamer. I’m on the fence on how I feel about this. At times I want a strong coffee. However, the new brew is much easier on my stomach and pleasant for daily coffee consumption. K cup brew or ground brew is equal in comparison with both coffee makers. Ultimately, I believe we made the wise decision with our new purchase considering the decline in keurigs ability to make quality coffee makers. Cuisinart is constant in quality and cost. I’ll update in 6 months. For now, I believe cuisinart is the better brand in comparison to keurig.

This device is dangerous! It exploded on me, scalding my hands. Had my face been closer, or my long-sleeved hoodie not been on, I would have been severely burned. The safety increases if small children were close by. The design is flawed as well. Recall this unit, redesigned it, or eliminate it from your line.

This Cuisinart wok arrived with minimal packaging, which makes sense considering its size and weight. It came with straightforward instructions explaining the do’s and don’ts, especially regarding seasoning and proper care. Right out of the box, it felt like a legitimate, traditional wok—much sturdier and more authentic than the lighter ones I’ve picked up from big box stores before. The build quality is excellent and immediately noticeable due to its weight and thick carbon steel construction. It’s easy to cook with once properly seasoned. Stir-frying, searing, and steaming feel very natural, and I’m not too concerned about damaging it during normal use—it feels built to take the heat and heavy use. As with all carbon steel woks, food will stick if not used correctly, but that’s expected. Learning how to use the wok properly makes a big difference. Once seasoned and preheated correctly, it naturally becomes less sticky and even easier to clean afterward. Overall, while it’s priced slightly above average, you truly get what you pay for. I’m very satisfied and excited to keep using it for more meals.

The set is beautiful. However, the 3 qt Saute pan has small dents in the bottom and scratches inside. For the price, the pieces should be immaculate. I will be returning it if customer service will not replace the piece.

Took a little bit to get used to how it operates but works well. Holds a charge for a long time and looks stylish sitting in our wine bar. Certainly worth it for the price pint.

I purchased this as a replacement for my 15 year old former Cuisinart mini chopper. I’ve trusted this brand for many years and it does not disappoint. It is actually much lighter than my old one and has a larger capacity - but still keeping its “mini” status. I appreciate that the cord winds up under the chopper for easy storage. Very powerful and easy to clean. (See pics for size comparison to other countertop appliances.)

I have a Cuisinart DC-8 food processor that is at least 25 years old but it runs great. When the stem cracked I dreaded having to buy a new food processor and spending hundreds of dollars. Cusisinart did not carry the part (it had been discontinued) I was delighted that after a long search I was able to find this replacement part. It is a perfect match!

The cup can only fit 1/2 cup of liquid. You cannot put more because when you squeeze (which is how you operate it) liquid will come out. It only takes a couple of minutes to make the cold liquid into a slushie. It makes less than 1/2 a cup of slushie and it melts very quickly. In order to have a normal size slushie you would need to use this probably 4x, which I don't think it would stay cold enough to even do. We were able to do it twice in a row. One other thing to note is the texture it makes. It is not crunchy like ice. We made a slushie with apple juice and the texture was like apple sauce. Very strange. Overall, this is way too much work for a little bit of (oddly textured) slushie.

It”s spacious and does the job well but those spots and stains came after first use . I’m afraid it may become rust soon.. For the price it’s not good quality 😣

I purchased this pot for several reasons, to fry, to steam and for making stir fry dishes. So far, so far I’ve pleased. I purchased it in November 2024. It cleans well, it doesn’t burn my food and it is easy to lift and move around. If things change then I’ll come back and review my comments. But so far I will definitely recommend the pot who is lol for a multipurpose pot.

We have been using the machine for a few days now. So far, we have been having so much fun making our own fancy coffee drinks. We have it sitting on a sliding bamboo tray that we also bought on cuisinartoutlets.com. That makes it easier to roll it forward to remove the water tank and lifts the machine slightly so we can more easily get a milk pitcher under the steamer nozzle. Then today, the lid got stuck! I had seen a few reviews complaining about this happening but no one ever said how they fixed it. We tried running several Nespresso cycles and nothing was happening. The machine made noises like it was brewing and beeped at the end but no water ever came out. What ended up working was running a k-cup cycle and then a Nespresso cycle. We let it sit for a couple of minutes and it suddenly made a hissing noise and released the pressure. Then we were able to open the lid as normal. It could have been the pod (it was a Peet’s coffee branded Nespresso compatible pod) We’ll stick to only Nespresso line pods from now on. Hope this helps someone else!

Call me silly but I like that I can leave it in the microwave and it looks like it matches! Lol. It's the perfect size, and it is high enough that it covers the food. I love that it can be put in the dish washer.

Took a chance and purchased used. Obviously as the picture of the shows. Was a bit nervous opening. Once I did, inside was beautiful, like new! PRO'S: - The cord - It easily retracts into the base. - The lid - Unlike the Cuisinart Elemental, with the Core models the lid easily locks into place. The Elementals lid must have been designed by someone who never cooks because it’s unnecessarily complicated, serious pain to deal with! Returned that model. - Power - Bigger IS better. Watts DO matter. Tried a Kitchenaid, but the lame 250watts was pathetic. Started using this Cuisinart Core day 1 and it has a powerful motor (950w), love it. Has power needed for making ground beef, chopping nuts - zero issues! There's no dough blade included. But please see Pic, experts actually don't recommend them! 😉 Had an older Cuisinart for years and it was a true workhorse. Unfortunately that model is no longer made. This is the closest to it, with the added benefit of having additional accessories available. Thank you cuisinartoutlets.com for the great deal ($50 bucks)!!!

This Cuisinart Skillet was ordered on December 30, 2023 and was delivered on January 2, 2024. I paid $39.95 + tax using my cuisinartoutlets.com Gift Card Balance. This has been in my cart for quite a while mainly because I only need a Skillet, I didn't need a cover. I was hoping to get a better price without it. Unfortunately, this was the best price I could get at the time of purchase. The features that prompted me to buy this are the Lifetime Warranty and Metal Utensil Safe. To be honest, I was quite amazed with how neat this skillet was packaged. I inspected this skillet for scratches. The non-stick surface was fine. The bottom part has a ring mark close to the slope side of the skillet which was not a big deal since this part will probably get stained as it gets used and exposed to fire in time. I added a video of what I cooked on this. I will come back to tell you what I think of this product after several use to show you how this stands on its claim that this is Metal Utensil Safe and if scratches appear on its Non-Stick Surface. Thanks!

I actually read through the instruction booklet before using. It says not to cook on high heat. Very first use, after cleaning-- I boiled 2 cups of pasta on medium heat, it took 5-10 minutes longer than on high. I had the glass lid on most of the time. When pasta was boiling, I uncovered a bit to let steam escape. After pasta was done, I turned off the heat, and poured the pasta into a colander to drain. I returned the pasta to the pot to keep warm, and set it back on the burner (now off). I guess my fateful choice was to put the glass lid back on top. Several minutes later, I heard an awful pop. The lid had shattered, and sent glass all over the range. Thank goodness no shards got into my sauce, which was cooking with a vented lid. I took a photo as proof, and have attached to this review. Shame on Cuisinart for not providing a vented glass lid with this pot.
