I really like the taste and the ability to make as a frothed milk for my coffee. Gives me a protein content with a single ingredient or I can add chopped almonds for a crunchy texture, or vanilla or cinnamon or chocolate, so much variety. It’s a delicious spread for toast, apples and pancakes. The quality seems great. will definitely buy again.

**** UPDATE 3/17/2025 **** It has been two years five months since my purchase. I'm still brewing no less than four K Cups per day. No issues to date. I'm still using the 1 to 2 vinegar/water ratio to descale as recommended by Cuisinart. Today I ran a 12 oz hot water cycle (without K Cup) and got the same 13 oz output as when the coffee maker was new. As stated in my original review if a K Cup was used it soak up some water and the output would be about 12 oz, **** END OF UPDATE **** I purchased this unit on October 15, 2022. Today is June 23, 2024. About four or five cups of coffee have been brewed daily since I received the unit. So far I have not had any issues. ***** QUALITY ***** Some reviewers compared this model SS-10P to an older similar Cuisinart model SS-700 (discontinued) stating the older model is built better. I have been on this planet quite a few years and agree “they don't make em like the used to”. IMHO this applies to most small kitchen appliances whether the brand is Cuisinart, Keurig, ACME or whoever. With that being said my review is based on what is available in today's market I purchased this Cuisinart SS-10P to replace a Keurig Slim that was on it's second warranty replacement. The Keurig Slim was purchased to replace an older working Keurig to save counter space. One deciding feature for my purchase is the three year warranty and U.S. based support (I think) available by voice call. I called Cuisinart regarding another appliance and I asked the agent if he was U.S. Based. He replied yes. ***** FEATURES ***** The features are basic. Brewing temperatures, auto shut off, auto power up (based on time set), clock, 4, 8, 10 and 12 ounce cups, hot water only, time to descale notice. There is no brew strength setting. ***** BREWING AND NOISE ***** As other reviewers have stated the brew time is slower than some other coffee makers. I agree. In my opinion the faster the brew the weaker the coffee, the slower the brew the stronger the coffee. Maybe the brew speed is a compromise. I agree the brewing process is louder than other coffee makers. For my personal preference this does not bother me at all. How loud is too loud is subjective. The select brew size is reasonably accurate. I ran a hot water only 12 oz. The amount of water measured was about 13 oz. See attached photo number 1. If a coffee pod was being brewed some of the water would have been soaked up by the coffee grounds. ***** MAINTENANCE ***** I don't baby my Cuisinart. I have been waiting on the descale notice to appear before descaling the unit. Today after descaling I decided to descale once per month in the future and not wait for the descale notice to appear. The Cuisinart manual hints at not waiting on the descale notice. This may add little more to the life of the unit. Cuisinart says to use 20 oz vinegar mixed with 40 of water to descale the unit. I heave been doing this. No problems. I use store brand vinegar which is literally dirt cheap compared to some coffee maker manufactures who recommend their branded pricey descale solution. I purchased the Cuisinart filters (two pack) just once. I no longer use their pricey filters or a third party cheaper filter (lower quality?). I use filtered tap water for brewing. Yes, I agree filters may help. It's just my personal choice. My only real complaint is cleaning the area under the “pod holder”. See photo number 3 with the holder removed. Over time some loose grounds will find it's way to this hidden area. I can get just one finger into this area from the top. I used two methods to clean. (1) A wet paper towel wrapped around my finger. (2) Let completely dry and use a small brush to sweep the grounds out of the bottom hole (pod holder removed). I am dinging one star because of this design. ***** CONCLUSION ***** My personal requirement is a basic reliable coffee maker. I use the auto shut off feature, the brew size and hot water only feature. I don't use the other features. I am not a picky coffee drinker. Overall this Cuisinart unit works for me.

I got this pan so that I could cook things like fried rice a little better than I have been able to with regular flat pans. This is a sturdy, heavy-duty pan and so far it does not have any sticking issues. Positives: - The pan is made strong and does not seem to have any issues with construction - The large handle gives you a lot of space away from heat so it is easy to maneuver with that handle - I have not had any issues with sticking and the heat seems to disperse evenly - Large capacity Negatives: - The small handle on the front gets very hot so you cant grab it without a pot holder - It ended up with an odd blue discoloration on the bottom inside of the pan. This showed up after the first couple of uses. Overall this is a decent pan and it works well. The sides are a little less steep than some wok style pans that I have used, but it still works well for frying. It has one little design flaw with the front handle overheating and the blue discoloration is a little questionable, but it is still very useful and I think that it will last a long time.

I bought the Koala Estate Dark Roast & I’m drinking it black to try it, although I normally drink with a splash of creamer… and it is very good! It has that sharp coffee taste without the bitter aftertaste. I highly recommend :)

The tea kettle worked great for a few weeks and then the part that whistles stopped working because it did not line up with spout. When I called cuisine art to replace the tea kettle, they told me I had to send it back to them and get a new part. At that point, I decided to buy a new one locally. /Users/michaelmahaffey/Desktop/Burnt stopper.rtfd

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Was great while it lasted. Not sure what happened but the socket looks fried and the plug looks like it melted. Im scared to continue use.

I've owned an older version of this product for many years, and only recently they have finally started to quit working for us. Because of the excellent longevity I wanted to buy again and hope for the same. Unfortunately I didn't even get so far as seeing if they worked because straight out of the box they came covered in sticky, gross food, fingerprints, and had clearly been used then returned. The salt grinder even has salt dust in it. I'm so appaled by their condition. I'll be returning immediately!

Overall, it's a decent product. I've included a photo of a different container that we've has for a couple of years and used a lot. These are the difference between a higher quality product and this product. There is a difference between the two glass containers - they both have a different ring. The material of the cover is a little thinner. The locking tabs feels a little weak. The locking of the lid is a little finicky to put on because the lid just sits on the edge of the container. The lid has to be lined up to the container so the locks can lock properly in place, otherwise the lock will pop out of place quite effortlessly. In the other container, there is a tab on all four corners on the lid so the lid is positioned as soon as it's put on the container. No fenagling. This product will last a couple of hard working years. The locking mechanism will break off before anything else.

4 months into using this for when I strain pasta…the handle broke and pasta went flying all over. What a cheap product!

I bought this Oct 2023, and started having issues February 2025. Until that point it was pretty decent. This was my first coffee machine as I went from powdered instant coffee to grinding my own beans. The reservoir is enough for about four 10 oz cups of coffee, which is decent for what I drink in a day. The machine "forces" you to descale it periodically (about every 6 months for me) which can be annoying but is probably a good practice regardless. The space under the brew head is too short to place a 20 oz Yeti-style travel mug, and the drip tray is a little more narrow than I'd like. I have a wider ~30 oz mug, for those really rough days, that does fit, but precariously. The grind size or duration is not adjustable, which is a bit of an annoyance because the metal filter basket the reusable pod comes with leaves a fine silt of grounds in the bottom of the mug. I added paper filters to prevent this, but it slightly diminishes the space for grounds in the filter basket. This means the automatic grind shutoff, which is calibrated for the metal filter basket, overflows the filter. The grinder can be shut off manually though so that is how I deal with it. My main issue with the machine is the cleanliness. After about 15 months of ownership, when using either disposable k cups or the reusable cup, water has started overflowing the top of said cup, where the needle pierces the lid, flooding the brew head area with water and coffee grounds. This wouldn't be awful in itself, but it leads to unfixable issues. The lid of the brew head is not removable, which means all the coffee grounds that float back in the chamber are very difficult to clean out (pictured). I tried rinsing them out by pouring water in the area and letting the water and grounds float to the drains located around the pod holder, only to realize the water was disappearing elsewhere. The water, and presumably coffee grounds, were leaking INTO the sealed part of the machine. There's now water and grounds inside an inaccessible part of the sealed machine, which will definitely lead to nastiness down the road. Cleaning the bean hopper is also very difficult since it is fixed in place, and inside of the hopper is a large gear head that transfers power to the removable grinding head. Attached is a picture that shows I can barely get my fingers half way down the hopper in the most open part, let alone where all the rigid supports are that make plenty of nooks and crannies. Unfortunately if I can't fix the overflow issue, I'll eventually have to replace this $100+ machine after only about a year and a half. Even if I can solve it, due to the inability to clean parts of it, it may be replaced before two years is up. Thankfully the stuck coffee grounds won't have an awful smell, at least for now.

Good product. It's good and easy for cooking and cleaning also.

Continuous feed spewed food all over the counter. It took more cleanup time than if I used a mandoline. By the way, I had the feed on “LOW” setting to minimize the mess. I attached manufacturers’s picture for comparison. Cuisinart should have a container configured to the feed chute.
