The outside box had a hole in it and what looked like blue paint fingerprints on it, but it was properly sealed with no internal damage. The chopper is simple to use, pulsed my onions into tiny bits perfect for my cooking needs, and fit in the dishwasher dor easy cleaning. Would recommend for small chopping jobs. Much easier to store then giant food processor.

It was always a little "hit or miss" with cupcake tins or cake pans, but this popover pan made it a breeze to make 6 perfect Yorkshire Puddings for Easter dinner! Then clean up was simple as a spray of my Norwex Biozyme a swipe with the netted dishcloth, rinse and air dry! Love this pan!

5 quarts perfect for my veggies

Pros: Easy to setup and use Cons: Needs a lot of storage/counter space and makes a small amount (1.5 qts max) Need to freeze about 24 hours before each use Makes only a soft serve style ice cream Melts almost immediately once removed from ice cream maker AND after removing from freezer My biggest complaint is the lid. It is poorly designed IMO. There are 2 areas that get ice cream in them if making the maximum amount and it's virtually impossible to save the ice cream from the lid as it melts so rapidly. (See pics where I used the stylus to point out the problem areas). This could have been designed as 2 components with the 2nd piece being a smooth sided funnel placed in the lid. This would have made it easier to clean/dry as well as save the ice cream. I also had issues with the cord. I realize there is a safety reason for making it shorter, but this is TOO short even in my kitchen where I have outlets all over the place. The problem is that the device is sufficiently tall that you need to put it where it's not under an upper cabinet. For that too happen, I need a cord which is at least 4-6" longer! To add insult to injury, the cord gets stuck in it's storage compartment. To explain: you shove the cord into a whole in the back. Great idea. Lousy execution. It get's layered on top of itself and twisted so it's a disaster to get it to come back out of the hole! The paddle does a great job of processing the ice cream. But it has so MANY nooks and crannies it's almost impossible to get all the ice cream off which is why I said earlier that it ONLY makes a MAX of 1.5 quarts. Between the meling and the paddles, my guess is that you are lucky if you get 1-1.25 qts. Tips: I found freezing the paddle with the base produced better results. It also meant that when I was planning to add a fruit or other item, that I could divide the base mix in half, make the ice cream with 1/2 the add in and then repeat. The first 1/2 processed in about 15 minutes and was quite thick. I quickly removed the ice cream and immediately began to process the 2nd half of the batch. It took about 30 minutes as the paddle and base were no longer as cold as immediately out of the freezer. However, the results were far superior to trying to make the full amount at one time which has a tendency to come up over the rim into the lid. This means there is more lost to scraping from the lid, base and paddle. With only a 1/2 batch it was only on the paddle and base (see pics) and overall I had more ice cream than when I made it all at the same time. I found that the instant you remove the paddle with the ice cream attached, the ice cream instantly begins to melt. I found it's better to scrape the ice cream off the paddle and back into the base. Stir a bit to get it cold and then put in your container. I also found it's better to pre-freeze your container. Otherwise the ice cream begins to melt as soon as it's removed from the base. Note: I've only made ice cream.

Lasted a year. 2nd knife to break at the ricasso. There is NO way a full tang with rivets could break away in this manner. Likely a rat tail tang or partial. Likely to the first rivet. I cracked knife blade open completely. 3rd photo. Poor blade design. Again a partial tang with a hook over the 1st rivet and a short stubby end. This horrible design creates a heavy lever action on the thin hard plastic material at the ricasso. This catastophic failure could possibly cause injury. It sure got my attention.

I have had my Cuisinart Smart Stick blender for going on 8 years now. I have used this device without fail for at least 320 days / year out the 8, I have had it. This has been my breakfast maker, soup puree , shake creator for this whole time. I have mixed my coffee, flax seed; whole and ground, and protein powder every morning over the past several years. Winter time usage; puree roasted veggies into soups. Snack time; protein powder and bananas, blueberries and sometimes a little crushed ice. I cannot live without my stick. I have only used the attachments that come with it a few times. I can't say anything about those. The blender has been a HUGE success for me in the kitchen for on-the-go breakfasts. Now that it is starting to whine, I would like a replacement for JUST The Smart Stick (without attachments). I love this device.

Cuisinart Vertical Propane Smoker, not the electric version. This is a great smoker at this price point. There are aspects that could be improved, but it's understandable that allowances were made to keep costs low. Pros: Large! Four racks that can be removed, so even a turkey will fit by removing a rack (or two). Heat control is decent. Low setting kept mine at 250^F. Easy to assemble, sturdy enough (again, price point). Temp gauge is pretty accurate, burner lights easily, temp control knob works fine. Cons: Costs were cut on the door handles. Not sure how to upgrade the closing mechanism, but I'm working on it. The unit doesn't seal well, but that's fixed with any after-market high-temp gasket. Other reviewers say not to seal the unit, but those must be for the electric model. Sealing the propane one is a no-brainer as there's an adjustable vent on the back to control smoke/heat. The tray that holds the wood chips also holds the water, which evaporates quite quickly. One fix for that is constant monitoring, the other is to use the included drip/water pan on the bottom shelf. When the water in the pan runs out, the temp can go up by 50^ or more. Thinking about a Rube Goldberg style automated water filler for the lower pan... So far everything I've smoked has turned out wonderfully. Bottom line: This is a great unit to start out with and possibly stick with. It's large, works great, is pretty bare-bones, and won't break the bank. The next step up in quality and features would be a leap, cost-wise.

Look of the opener great. Operation of opener horrible. Have to keep repeating process to uncork. Which cork comes out half way, then I have to use a manual cork screw to open.

The pans nonstick is nice and it’s of heavyweight but it warped the first time I used it. Don’t recommend.

1 Year Update: Still making great coffee. No issues. All my questions were easily solved by reading the owner's manual. Overall it's been a great coffee maker and it's a nice that the manufacturer gives it a three year warranty. The only negative I can think of is staining on the heating plate but my family doesn't follow the same process I do for wiping everything down after use. If you use highly filtered water there's no need to use the charcoal filter. Original Review: Purchased for the design. Coffee tastes good. Use a #4 filter with a fine grind. Slightly more coarse geind and the metal filter works fine. I'll post back after a while.

Every year, I tell myself I need to replace my roasting pan. Mainly because the rack part was peeling. I debated over several and settled on this one because the reviews were the best and I really wanted one with a rack that did not have that black coating. I was a bit surprised at how light this pan is compared to my other one, but it made it so much easier for me to take my turkey out of the oven, then pour the drippings in my pan. Clean up was also a breeze!

We have been using this for six months and love it. Not much bigger than previous B&D toaster oven. We used every function at least once per week and are 100% satisfied. I especially like having an air fryer that doesn’t take up half the kitchen counter. I’ve used the air fryer for several meals and it cooks fish & chips perfectly.

It is perfect for my little corner, I use it a lot for toasts, bagels, defrost pita bread, etc. The air fryer works wonders, I only seasoned the vegetables and they come out perfect with no oil, haven’t baked yet but for that task I will most likely use the oven. It heats up foods well with the broiler setting and my single serving pizza baked really well. My only complaint is no pre set timer like in my old electric oven, but hey it forces you in a nice way to pay attention and stay in cooking mode. I would recommend it and definitely buy it again.
